Prakruti Nature & Wildlife Exhibitions
Turning curiosity, creativity and participation into a connection with nature.
Prakruti is Secure Nature Society’s nature and wildlife exhibition initiative, created to bring the beauty and diversity of the natural world closer to people who may not otherwise have an opportunity to experience it.
Many people, especially young people, grow up with little knowledge of the incredible wildlife and biodiversity that exists around them and across India. Through our exhibitions, we use photography as a simple and powerful way to create that first connection — giving people an opportunity to see, discover and appreciate animals, birds, landscapes and ecosystems they may have never encountered before.
Our exhibitions are designed for everyone — students, young people, families and the wider community. We have taken this work into educational spaces as well as public spaces, using accessible visual storytelling to start conversations about wildlife and the importance of protecting it.
In our recent exhibitions, we showcased photographs capturing the remarkable biodiversity of India, with images contributed by participants from different parts of the country through our wildlife photography competitions. In this way, the exhibitions also give the photographs a second life: images created by nature enthusiasts for a competition become a way for a much wider audience to experience India’s wildlife.
The programme is not limited to a fixed annual schedule. We organise exhibitions as opportunities arise, whether through schools, public spaces or collaborations with local institutions, and we intend to continue expanding this work.
Timeline of Project
Started the project with online Quiz on World Environment Day 2024.
we were able to reach 5000+ students in since 2019.
So far we reached 22+ schools, 750+ participated in the Quiz and overall we were able to reach 3600+ students in 2024-25 and (Overall reached 5000+ Students)
Nature awareness should not be limited to people who already have an interest in wildlife. We take our exhibitions to places where people naturally gather and learn from schools to public spaces — so that wildlife photography can reach a broader section of society.

Community Nature Competition & Plant Distribution
Organised in collaboration with Mandvi Nagar Seva Sadan / local municipality.
You mentioned that this was a public competition where plants were distributed. I would keep this as a historical activity under the broader Community Awareness programme, but I would not put specific details on the page until we verify the exact event name, date and number of plants distributed.

A public exhibition bringing wildlife photography to a broader audience. If the September and December exhibitions were actually the two posts you linked earlier, we can connect each archive entry directly to its corresponding post.
