Announcing the Winners of

Birdhouse Making Competition

Providing home to our avian friends

Somewhere in the heat of our cities, a small bird searches for a place to rest.A safe corner. A quiet shelter. A home.

As temperatures rise and concrete spaces continue to replace natural habitats, these small lives struggle silently around us. They don’t ask for much — just a little shade, a drop of water, and a place where they can feel safe.Yet, for many birds, even this has become difficult to find.

At Secure Nature Society, this simple yet powerful thought has guided one of our most meaningful initiatives — creating safe spaces for birds to survive and thrive alongside us.What started as a small effort soon grew into a larger mission. Through our Birdhouse & Water Pot Distribution Project, we have distributed over 7,100 birdhouses and water pots across different regions.

Each birdhouse placed was more than just an object. It was a gesture of care. Each water pot was more than just a container. It was a lifeline in extreme heat. We have seen birds return. We have seen nests being built. We have seen life finding its way back into spaces where it was once missing. And in those moments, we realized something important —
conservation is not just about action, it’s about participation.

Because real change happens when people don’t just support a cause. but feel connected to it. That’s when the idea took shape. This time, we didn’t just want to distribute homes. We wanted people to build them with their own hands, to think about birds while designing, creating, and placing these shelters. We wanted to turn awareness into empathy and empathy into action. And that is how the Birdhouse Making Competition 2026 came to life.
