When we launched the first edition of Quiz with a Twist three years ago, we weren’t trying to create another online quiz. There are already enough quizzes that test memory. We wanted to create something that rewards curiosity.

Something that makes you pause at a photograph, notice a small detail, question an assumption, and look at nature the way a naturalist does.

This year, hundreds of participants joined us once again for Quiz with a Twist! 3.0, turning a simple quiz into a celebration of observation, logic, and the endless surprises hidden in the natural world.

For 20 minutes, participants travelled through forests, wetlands, deserts, oceans, and grasslands not physically, but through questions carefully designed to challenge the way they think. Some questions were solved in seconds. Others sparked debates, second guesses, and those wonderful moments when the answer seems obvious only after you’ve discovered it.

And that’s exactly what we hoped for. Because nature has always been less about knowing and more about noticing.

More Than Just a Score

Every year, we receive messages from participants saying things like:

“I never knew this species existed.”

“I spent an hour reading about this after the quiz ended.”

“That question made me look at wildlife differently.”

For us, those responses matter more than rankings. A conservationist is rarely created by a certificate. It usually begins with curiosity. A single question, A surprising fact, or A moment of wonder.

If this quiz managed to spark that feeling in even a handful of participants, then it has already achieved its purpose.
