Theme: Telling the Story of Nature and Environment

Participants are encouraged to create artwork that narrates a story about nature—its breathtaking beauty, its challenges, or the efforts to conserve it. Whether it’s showcasing wildlife, forests, climate change, or the harmonious bond between humans and nature, your artwork should inspire and raise awareness.

Objective

The competition aims to foster creativity and environmental consciousness through the lens of Warli art, a traditional Indian art form known for its simplicity and deep connection to nature and community. By participating, you’ll contribute to a meaningful dialogue about nature conservation while celebrating cultural heritage.

Competition Details

Eligibility: Open to all ages and skill levels—amateurs, professionals, students, and enthusiasts across the country are welcome!

Art Style: Entries must strictly follow the Warli art style, characterized by:Simple geometric shapes (circles, triangles, squares).Monochromatic colors, typically white on a mud or dark background.Depictions of daily life, nature, and community using stick figures and minimalistic designs.

Medium: Hand-drawn artwork only (proof of work may be requested).

Submission Deadline: 1st September 2025 (late entries will not be accepted).

Entry Fee: Free to encourage maximum participation.

Maximum Entries: One entry per participant.

Artwork Specifications:

Size: A3 or A4 page.

Must depict a narrative related to nature or the environment (e.g., wildlife, forests, climate change, conservation, or human-nature interactions).Must adhere to Warli art style principles.

Winners and select participants may also be featured in Secure Nature Society’s social media, newsletters, and environmental campaigns, giving your work a platform to inspire others.
